Welcome
to our Church. Our doors are open to everyone who wishes to participate
in our services which consist of a lecture, laying on of hands healing, and
spirit communication. Spiritualism is a science, philosophy and religion based
upon communication with the spirit world. We are guided by our
Declaration of Principles.
The healing service during the Sunday service is
"laying-on-of-hands" healing. This is contact healing where the
designated healer's will put hands on the head, neck and shoulders only.
Spirit guides and teachers work with the healer. The sitter should be
willing to accept the healing and change whatever is necessary within his/her
life to manifest perfect health.
Our Sunshine Committee Chairperson is
Melissa Bernstein. If you are aware of any congregant ill or in the hospital,
contact Melissa at her
e-mail address melissa9491@yahoo.com
Event Videos brings you to our event videos page. Here you will see a table tipping workshop in action and gallery readings being done by six mediums from the First Spiritualist Church of Springfield after a pasta and meatball dinner. This is the same type of readings which are part of our Sunday service to prove the continuity of life.
Healing Videos can be found on this site. We have a video of How To Do A Correct Laying-On-Of-Hands Healing and one How Not To Do A Healing.
Near Death Experiences videos will be found on this page. The videos will bring you closer to those who have had them and what they found during their experience
Table Tipping Photos will be found on this page. The photos will show you the class setup and you will get a better understanding on what is provided for this workshop.
Good
News!
We sold our church and are presently remodeling our new church in
Chicopee. Work is proceeding at a good pace and we hope to be moving within
the next month or so. We will be located at 465 Granby Road with our own
parking. The santuary and refreshment area as well as the restrooms are on the one floor. There is also a handicapped ramp and restroom facilities for those with a handicap.
The seating will be very comfortable upholstered chairs with a new sound system in the entire building. Those who come with children who cannot sit within the congregation, will be able to see and hear the entire service on the 55" screen in the refreshment area, while they watch their children. We record the lecture part of the service and place it on the web site for those who were unable to attend the service; therefore, having the santuary quiet at that time is important.
As of today May 15, 2013, we are still awaiting Columbia Gas Company for our gas service. We will notify everyone when we are ready to move.
We are all looking forward to this new church so watch for the grand
opening!
